ABOUT NICOLE B. GEBHARDT

Author and Speaker

Written By Silverlight Press, Publisher/CEO, Susan Sember

Authors often write their own bios and “About” sections of their websites. However, in this instance, I personally am honored to share the Nicole B. Gebhardt I know-Author with my publishing company, business colleague, passionate women’s advocate, and leader. The generalizations, perceptions, and stereotypes rendered simply don’t fit to describe this incredible woman. She will surprise you, teach lessons you thought you knew, and always provide nuggets of wisdom whatever your life stage.

You can certainly find out more about Nicole, professionally, on her LinkedIN page, social media, and business websites. But again, I want you to know Nicole like I do. As a publisher, I tell my authors that readers want to know who they are. They want an authentic glimpse into that author as a person. So who is Nicole Gebhardt?

She’s a woman who isn’t afraid to tell her stories, which are as meaningful and intimate, as her chosen tattoos. Likewise, out of the pain she endured acquiring those stories, came beauty and transformation.

Nicole has the heart of a lioness. She is fierce with her love, passion, and determination. She embraces her unique spirit without apology or need to conform. More than most, she personifies the statement of “Just be you!” She has learned to genuinely love herself, be unabashedly honest, and boldly confident in knowing that she is more than enough. Nicole also understands that the world doesn’t need copies but rather, each individual, and women in particular, hold the key to their success and happiness by tapping into that uncharacteristic and unmatched DNA that we each have.

Nicole works tirelessly with warrior strength and persistence. A high performing entrepreneur, Nicole has laser focus and has mastered how to realize her dreams. Yet, having also accomplished balance, she finds time for walks on the beach, dedicated attention to her marriage, cuddling with her dogs, “Maverick” and “Goose” (yes, like in Top Gun, with her Air Force husband providing inspiration), and enjoying treasured moments with her children. She has found the beauty in self care and self love and how it directly impacts her success in all aspects of her life. By doing so, her business accomplishments and accolades continue to soar.

Looking at Nicole, one may think she has everything: Multiple thriving businesses, a loyal global following, six beautiful children, a loving, supportive, and high-flying (literally) husband, and adventures all over the world. But what most people don’t know is that there is pain, trauma, and tragedy that forged this woman into the Queen that presently reigns her life.

Like many professional women, Nicole has worked hard to get where she’s at…and it wasn’t handed to her. Molestation and rape were part of her youth. She left an abusive marriage, which initially had her living on food stamps with three young children to feed. She lost a child to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). She was “broken”, to use her words, depressed, feeling inadequate, and turned to alcohol to cope with her grief and low self esteem. Through her own tenacity and hard work, however, Nicole “saved” herself. The loss, the blame, the “less than” self image, the addiction, the over-compensation-her daily challenges-were courageously examined, confronted. and a life plan implemented. Although she eventually found her knight and lifelong love, husband, Jeff…Nicole knew that she was truly the only one who could “save” herself. Her pain would be turned into power, purpose, and passion. She wasn’t going to be a victim. She wanted to be more than a survivor. No way… instead, as she told me, she “ became a bad-ass Queen!”

Nicole graduated from the University of Alabama with an M.S. Degree in Human Development and Family Studies with an emphasis in Child Life. Her B.S. Degree is in Business Communications from Florida State University. Additionally, she is a certified Emotion Code Practitioner: CCLS- Certified Life Specialist and Sacred Usui Reiki Master Holy Fire III®️Karuna 2®️Reiki Master. Her life experience, along with her professional and educational expertise, are tools she uses in her businesses, coaching, writing, and speaking. Today, she is a highly sought speaker, retreat facilitator, empowerment coach, and Reiki master.

She’s a beacon of light to women around the world, as well as a close confidant and pillar of strength to military spouses. As a military wife, she has managed her young family of six children on her own, moving the Gebhardt household multiple times in the last seven years, while Jeff is, likewise, serving our country. As an Arlington Lady in Washington, DC, Nicole has brought comfort, peace, and order during very difficult times for military families who are laying their loved ones to rest at Arlington Cemetery. She’s a committed and dedicated volunteer for numerous military spouse and family organizations. And although she wouldn’t necessarily choose to share such acts with you here, she has brought joy to families who found much needed extra cash tucked in the diaper boxes they’ve bought at the grocery store and with others, at the local bakeries, discovered that their children’s birthday cakes had been pre-paid in memory of her lost baby, Samuel. That’s Nicole.

There have been and continue to be many “Queen movements” but Nicole’s isn’t like the others. It’s why her tribe of Queens is rising up all over in support of other women to find and use their power in changing their lives, businesses, and communities. She has an authentic and deep passion for the empowerment of women. By your association, reading her book, attending her retreats, taking her courses, you, too, will grow and be inspired to rise to Queen-level in your business and life.

Please follow Nicole on this website; sign up for her newsletter and updates; check in and read her blogs to learn more of her story and valued guidance; visit her other business websites; and check out her books.

Her additional books, related to infant loss and miscarriage, will also, without question, impact and make a further difference with women globally.
